The Texas A&M University-Texarkana women's soccer team was eliminated from tournament play today in quarterfinal action at LSU-Alexandria, sending the LSUA Generals into tournament semifinal action next week at Judy Kelley Morgan Field in Texarkana.
The Eagles jumped out to an early lead with a goal by Desiree Narvaez at the 24-minute mark of the game. Less than a minute into the second half the Eagles knotted the game at two goals each with a long-distance goal from Brooklyn Lattier. LSUA's Alexia Bermejo Jo put the kick past Eagles keeper Layla Anaya, ending the season for the Eagles and sending LSUA into the tournament semifinals on Monday, November 10th in Texarkana.
