The Eagles (16-2-1) will host LSU-Shreveport (12-3-3) on Thursday at 1 pm in a RRAC semifinal matchup. The teams played to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 21 in Texarkana. The Pilots blanked Our Lady of the Lake, 1-0, in their quarterfinal matchup.
Loera's goal – her fourth of the season and second game-winner – came off a penalty kick at the 5:33 mark of the first overtime period. The match itself was indicative of the final score as the two teams combined for just 17 shots and nine shots on goal.
Ivana Robinson made five saves and recorded a clean sheet for the Eagles, who notched their 13th shutout win of the season despite playing without leading scorer Alyssa Daily, who scored 13 goals this season.
