Men's Soccer falls to the nationally ranked Wildcats of Louisiana Christian University this evening in Pineville, Louisiana. The Wildcats scored their first goal of the game shorty before the halftime whistle, giving them a 1-0 lead against the Eagles.
The Eagles would be forced to play down a player for the majority of the second half after a second yellow card was awarded to Real Eguaikhide, which suspended him from the rest of the competition. TAMUT goalie Seth Brown kept the Eagles within reach of the nationally ranked Wildcats with 6 big time saves throughout the course of the game. The Wildcats were able to sneak two more goals by Brown to secure the victory over the Eagles 3-0.
The Eagles fall to 4-6-2 on the season and 2-4-1 in conference play. Men's Soccer is back in action Saturday October 12th against the Generals from LSU-Alexandria. Kickoff is set for 3:30pm.
