Women's Tennis Finishes Season Ranked 24th in the Nation
TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana women's tennis team closed out the season ranked No. 24 in the final NAIA National Coaches' Poll, securing a spot among the nation's top programs.
The Eagles finished the year with a strong 21–7 overall record, with all seven losses coming against nationally ranked opponents. Throughout the season, Texas A&M–Texarkana showcased consistency and competitiveness, earning key wins while navigating a challenging schedule.
The team's success was highlighted by steady performances across both singles and doubles play, helping the Eagles climb as high as No. 23 in the national poll and No. 13 in the ITA rankings during the season. Their efforts were also recognized at the conference level, with multiple student-athletes earning All-RRAC honors.
With the season complete, the Eagles now await their postseason fate, as the NAIA National Championship selection show is scheduled for April 28 at 3 p.m. CT.
