Women’s Tennis Climbs to No. 23 in NAIA National Poll
TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana women's tennis team moved up two spots to No. 23 in the latest NAIA National Coaches' Poll, continuing its rise among the nation's top programs.
The Eagles have compiled an impressive 20–2 overall record this season, with both losses coming against nationally ranked opponents. Throughout the spring, Texas A&M–Texarkana has demonstrated consistency and depth across the lineup, earning key victories and maintaining momentum in a highly competitive schedule.
The Eagles have also proven themselves against strong competition, collecting multiple quality wins while continuing to build their national résumé. Their success has been fueled by balanced performances in both singles and doubles play, showcasing the team's ability to compete at a high level in every match.
As the season progresses, Texas A&M–Texarkana enters one of its toughest stretches of the year, set to face several nationally ranked opponents in the coming week. With opportunities to further climb the national rankings, the Eagles will look to continue their strong play and solidify their position inside the NAIA Top 25.
