Women’s Tennis Sweeps Sterling 4-0

TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana women's tennis team earned a dominant 4-0 victory over Sterling, controlling both doubles and singles play.
The Eagles secured the doubles point with a win at No. 1 as the duo of Adrianne Guangko and Kristin Major earned a 6-2 victory. Texarkana also picked up a point by default at No. 2 doubles to take an early 1-0 lead.
In singles play, the Eagles closed out the match with straight-set wins on all three contested courts. Ana Gonzalez led the way with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles, while Lucia Siddens and Emmanouela Besi each delivered commanding performances at No. 2 and No. 3 to secure the sweep.
