The Eagles took on the Stallions of North American University tonight in a RRAC match up at home on Judy Kelley Morgan Field. The Eagles would come out victorious after the 90 minutes after scoring 9 goals and holding the Stallions scoreless. The final score would be 9-0 in favor of the Eagles.
To get the goal scoring started for the Eagles Brooklyn Lattier would score within the opening two minutes of the game off an assist from Desiree Narvaez. Narvaez quickly joined Lattier in the scoring category for the Eagles in the 7th minute off an assist from Alicia Loera. Lattier and Narvaez would add another goal each to put the Eagles up 4. The next Eagle to join these two in scoring would be Freshman Rylie Williams making the score 5-0. Williams then would send a ball across the box and Emma Contreras would send it to the back of the net off a header. Going into the half the Eagles had scored 7 goals and held the Stallions scoreless. In the second half, Sofia Reyes would score off a penalty kick, and Zoe Quintanilla would score the last goal for the Eagles in the 85th minute.
