Women’s Golf Collects Conference Honors as Thomson, Dieter Recognized
TEXARKANA, Texas – Texas A&M University–Texarkana women's golf standout Liberty Thomson earned Continental Athletic Conference All-Conference Team honors following a fifth-place finish at the CAC Women's Golf Championships, hosted by University of the Southwest at Rockwind Community Links Golf Course. Her performance capped a strong debut season for the Eagles' program.
Thomson posted a two-round total of 167 to secure her top-five finish, closing out the championship among the conference's leading performers. Currently ranked No. 384 nationally, she recorded multiple top-10 finishes throughout the season, establishing herself as a consistent presence for A&M-Texarkana in tournaments across the country.
In addition, teammate Ella Dieter was named to the CAC Champions of Character Team, an honor that recognizes student-athletes who exemplify the core values of the NAIA Champions of Character program.
