Rothschild Named RRAC Defensive Player of the Week
WACO, Texas (Feb. 16, 2026) – LSU Alexandria's Justice Young (offensive) and Texas A&M-Texarkana's Imani Rothschild (defense) have been honored as the RRAC Women's Hoops Players of the Week for the dates of Feb. 9-15. This is the 15th set of awards.
RRAC Offensive Player of the Week – Justice Young – LSU Alexandria
Junior center Justice Young led the Generals to two victories last week. She scored 17 points, adding an assist and two blocks in the team's 79-64 win over Texas A&M-San Antonio. She contributed a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in A 66-64 victory over Our Lady of the Lake (Texas). She added three assists and one steal.
Young is second on her team in shooting, connecting on 95-of-210 field goals, and she leads with 23 blocks, 57 offensive rebounds, and 168 defensive rebounds. On the season, she has tallied 226 points (10.3 points/game) and 17 assists. Young has secured four double-doubles this season.
LSUA is sixth in conference and has earned a spot in the RRAC postseason tournament. The Generals are 12-8 in conference and 13-12 overall.

RRAC Defensive Player of the Week – Imani Rothschild – Texas A&M-Texarkana
Senior point guard Imani Rothschild had an impressive defensive weekend, snagging 10 steals over two games, as well as 13 rebounds. She also tallied one block while averaging 6.5 points/game and nine assists in a 59-53 loss to XULA and a 74-40 victory over NAU.
Rothschild has accumulated 15 offensive rebounds, 100 defensive rebounds, six blocks, and a team-leading 77 steals this season. She is fourth in the RRAC with 77 steals and sixth with 88 assists.
TAMUT is third in the RRAC and has secured a spot in the postseason conference tournament with a 17-8 overall record and a 15-4 conference record.

- UNTD junior guard Jade Myles led the Trailblazers offensively across two games this week by averaging 19.5 points. She tied a team-high 19 points in an 87-49 win at Jarvis Christian (Texas). She followed with 20 points at Texas College. Both games saw Myles drop a trio of three-pointers each. Myles combined for seven rebounds, steals, and five assists.
- LCU sophomore forward Kylei Leblanc recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds in her team's 54-48 loss to XULA. She added 17 points in the 67-56 victory over OLLU and 20 in the 94-66 loss to TAMUSA.
- NAU senior forward Keasia Robinson registered 14 points in her team's 66-62 win over LSUS and 13 in the 74-40 loss to TAMUT.
- LSUS junior Toni Coleman averaged 16.0 points per game while shooting an efficient 52.9 percent (18-of-34) from the field across 108 minutes of action, starting all three contests for LSU Shreveport. She scored in double figures in all three games, highlighted by back-to-back 19-point performances against NAU and XULA. Beyond her scoring, Coleman was a force on the glass, pulling down 16 total rebounds (5.3 per game) during the three-game stretch. She recorded six rebounds in each of the final two contests, providing critical second-chance opportunities and helping the Pilots control possessions in key conference matchups. Against NAU, Coleman was unstoppable offensively, shooting 7-of-9 (77.8%) from the floor while adding six rebounds, four assists, and four steals in 36 minutes. She followed that performance with another 19-point outing in a win over XULA, contributing six rebounds and six steals to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
- OLLU senior guard Alexandra Westerdijk Martin recorded a double-double in the Saints' 67-56 loss to LCU with 19 points and 14 rebounds. She scored 22 points in the 66-64 loss to LSUA.
- TAMUT senior guard Chi'onne Dailey shot an impressive .481 field goal percentage and a .400 three-point field goal percentage in last week's games. She scored 18 points in their 59-53 loss to XULA and then followed it up with a 16-point game in the 74-40 victory. Dailey also recorded eight steals, dished out nine assists, and had eight rebounds.
- XULA senior forward Alicia Blanton totaled 29 points in her team's 54-48 victory over LCU, 59-53 win over TAMUT, and 73-65 loss to LSUS. She added 27 rebounds, two assists, four steals, and one block.
- UNTD senior guard Shandrea Yeldell matched a career-high nine rebounds in two road games last week for the Trailblazers. She nearly clinched a triple-double in the win at JCU with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists. Her total number of assists tied a single-game record. The point guard picked up 12 defensive rebounds and totaled 18 overall. Yeldell also compiled seven steals and 12 assists overall.
- LCU junior center Carlea Owens added a total of 12 rebounds, one steal, and five blocks in her team's 54-48 loss to XULA, 67-56 victory over OLLU, and 94-66 loss to TAMUSA.
- NAU senior forward Keasia Robinson totaled 16 rebounds, five steals, and six blocks in her team's 66-62 victory over LSUS and 74-40 loss to TAMUT.
