Women's Basketball Falls to the Jaguars 69-61
TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana women's basketball team battled throughout all four quarters but came up short Thursday evening, falling 69–61 to Texas A&M–San Antonio in Red River Athletic Conference action inside the Patterson Student Center.

TAMUT forced turnovers and generated second-chance opportunities, finishing with an 18–5 advantage in offensive rebounds.
Texas A&M–San Antonio created separation in the third quarter, holding the Eagles to nine points while capitalizing at the free-throw line. Despite the setback, TAMUT continued to fight in the fourth, cutting into the deficit behind aggressive defense and strong interior play.
Breyionce George led the Eagles with 16 points and a team-high 10 rebounds for a double-double performance, while Chi'onne Dailey added 15 points, seven steals, and four rebounds. Imani Rothschild chipped in nine points and three assists, and Chioma Treasure Emeh contributed eight points and three rebounds.
Texas A&M–Texarkana finished with a 40–34 rebounding edge and outscored the Jaguars in points off turnovers, but the visitors' efficiency at the free-throw line proved decisive down the stretch.
