Emeh Earns Second Defensive Player of the Week Honor of the Season
WACO, Texas (Nov. 17, 2025) – This week's RRAC Women's Hoops Players of the Week are University of North Texas-Dallas' De'Asia Johnson as Offensive Player of the Week and Texas A&M-Texarkana's Chioma Treasure Emeh as Defensive Player of the Week for the dates of Nov. 10-16.
RRAC Offensive Player of the Week – De'Asia Johnson – University of North Texas-Dallas
Junior forward De'Asia Johnson scored a career-high 20 points, leading her team to a dramatic 74-73 victory over Paul Quinn (Texas) last week. She logged 38 minutes and gave the best all-around performance for the Trailblazers, as she added three rebounds, three steals, and one block. Johnson had several key plays, both with and away from the ball, that impacted UNTD's first win of the season under head coach Otis Nicksion.
Johnson leads her team in scoring with 35 points for 17.5 per game. The Trailblazers are 1-1.

RRAC Defensive Player of the Week – Chioma Treasure Emeh – Texas A&M-Texarkana
Sophomore guard Chioma Treasure Emeh wins her second defensive player of the week award after she grabbed 11 rebounds in her team's 59-44 loss to Langston (Okla.) and 85-81 loss to Henderson State (Ark.). She added 11 rebounds, four assists, seven steals, and one block.
Emeh has accumulated 44 points for an average of 11 per game. She is the team leader with 26 rebounds, eight assists, and 16 steals. The Eagles are 0-4.

- Senior guard Princes Goff from LSUA scored 14 points for her team. She made 3-of-11 from the field and all eight of her free throws.
- OLLU junior guard Samantha Fields led her team to a 65-45 win over Huston-Tillotson (Texas) with 22 points. She added 13 points in the team's 66-55 loss to Texas Wesleyan.
- TAMUT junior forward Eleionna Brown scored 25 points off the bench in her team's 85-81 loss to NCAA D2 Henderson State (Ark.) and seven points in the 59-44 loss to Langston (Okla.).
- LSUA's Justice Young added seven rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in her team's 80-63 loss to Faulkner (Ala.).
- JCU senior guard Jacy Reese tacked on seven rebounds, three assists, and 23 points in her team's 59-52 win over Centenary (La.).
- Shayla Dede from OLLU logged 15 rebounds – all on defense – in her team's 65-45 win over Huston-Tillotson and 66-55 loss to Texas Wesleyan. She added four assists, two steals, and a block.
