STAFFORD, Texas – The Texas A&M University-Texarkana women's basketball team closed out its season with a 65-56 victory over North American University in its final RRAC matchup.
The Eagles dominated through three quarters, outscoring the Stallions 60-36. Despite a late 20-5 push by North American in the fourth, TAMUT's strong start proved enough to secure the win.
Kayla Williams recorded her 11th double-double of the season, leading the Eagles with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Chi'onne Dailey added 14 points and three assists, while Chioma Treasure Emeh contributed 11 points and nine rebounds.
TAMUT shot an efficient 45.5% from the field and controlled the boards with a 38-26 rebounding advantage. The Eagles conclude their season at 9-19 (9-15 RRAC), finishing 10th in the conference and falling short of a conference tournament berth.
