Track and Field Opens Indoor Season December 6: Here’s What’s Different
TEXARKANA, Texas – The 2025–26 season is nearly here, and excitement is building as the Texas A&M University–Texarkana men's and women's track and field teams prepare to compete in their first official indoor season as a program. The Eagles will take the track under the direction of the program's inaugural coaching staff, who have already established a strong foundation for the future of TAMUT cross country and track and field.
The Eagles will compete in eight regular-season meets across four states, with the schedule featuring marquee stops at the LSU Bayou Bengal Invitational and the Howie Ryan Invitational.
TAMUT opens its historic indoor campaign on December 6 at the Washburn Alumni Invitational in Topeka, Kansas. Field events are set to begin at 12:00 p.m., with running events scheduled to follow at 1:30 p.m. as the Eagles officially begin a new era of competition.
