Men's Tennis Wraps up Season Ranked No. 27 Nationally via ITA
TEXARKANA, Texas — Texas A&M University–Texarkana men's tennis wrapped up its season a few weeks ago, but the accolades continue to roll in.
In the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NAIA national rankings, the Eagles earned the No. 27 spot, capping off a 13-8 season that included three consecutive appearances in the NAIA National Coaches Poll receiving votes category.
Senior Andrew Otzenberger received individual national recognition throughout the year, earning a No. 38 singles ranking in the fall and climbing to No. 24 this spring.
In doubles, the Eagles' top pair of Otzenberger and Mauricio Treviño also made their mark, finishing the season ranked No. 38 nationally after going 10-2 together.
