Candelo Recognized as RRAC Offensive Player of the Week

TEXARKANA, Texas- Junior midfielder John Candelo (Houston, Texas) has been named the RRAC Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Eagles' dramatic comeback against former Red River rival Paul Quinn. Candelo struck twice in the span of just three minutes, with both goals coming in the final 10 minutes of regulation to secure a 3-3 draw. His clutch performance helped TAMUT improve to 1-2-4 overall as the Eagles now turn their attention to conference play.
