Men's soccer lost to the Jaguars of Texas A&M-San Antonio in game two of the Women and Men's double header Thursday afternoon on Judy Kelley Morgan Field. Diego Picano would score the first and only goal for the Eagles midway through the first half, giving the Eagles the lead 1-0 going into the half.
TAMUSA would go on to tie the score after a goal from Ronald Aguilar in the 60th minute. Fouls in the box would prove to be costly for the Eagles as the Jaguars would score their next two goals from the penalty mark. The Jaguars would go on to maintain the lead through the end of the game and defeat the Eagles 3-1.
The Eagles fall to 2-3-1 on the season, and 0-1-0 in conference play. The Eagles will be back in action this Saturday against the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake University at home, kick off is set for 3:30 pm following the completion of the Women's game.
