Oduwole's late goal lifts Eagles to third straight victory

Locked in a defensive battle with winless Southwest, the junior defender found the back of the net with just one minute to play, providing the game-winner in the Eagles' 2-1 road win, their third straight victory.
The two teams combined for just 11 shots and five shots on goal. The Eagles improved to 8-7-0 overall and 6-4-0 in conference play. Southwest fell to 0-11-1, 0-10-0.
Jaret Rojas put the Eagles up in the 16th minute with an assist from Coastas Heckman, but the Mustangs tied it just five minutes later. Christian Gomez assisted on Oduwole's game-clinching shot, which came at the 88:19 mark.
The Eagles return home to face LSU-Shreveport next Saturday at 7:30 pm.
