Men's Golf Collects Conference Honors as Caldwell, Haskins Recognized
TEXARKANA, Texas – Texas A&M University–Texarkana men's golf standout Rylen Caldwell earned Red River Athletic Conference All-Conference honors after finishing fourth at the RRAC Men's Golf Championships, hosted by the University of the Southwest at Rockwind Community Links Golf Course. His performance capped a strong debut season for the Eagles' program.
Caldwell posted a three-round total of 226 to secure his top-five finish, closing the championship among the conference's top performers. Currently ranked No. 109 nationally, he recorded multiple top-10 finishes throughout the season, including a runner-up finish at the inaugural Texarkana Invitational. Caldwell quickly established himself as a consistent presence in the Eagles' lineup and was named Texas A&M–Texarkana Newcomer of the Year, an award recognizing the top-performing newcomer across all TAMUT athletic programs.
In addition, teammate Ayden Haskins was named to the RRAC Champions of Character Team, an honor that recognizes student-athletes who exemplify the core values of the NAIA Champions of Character program.
