Bio
Coach Garney enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Texas A&M University–Texarkana golf program. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she went on to compete at the Division I level at the University of Wyoming, where she graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in communication.
Following her collegiate career, she played golf professionally from 2015–2020, gaining valuable experience competing at the highest level. Since 2018, she has been an instructor at Northridge Country Club, where she has spent the past seven years giving lessons and helping golfers of all skill levels improve their game.
With her background as both a competitor and coach, Garney brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the sport to the Eagles program. Off the course, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her 3-year-old daughter, Jacklyn.
