TAMUT Esports Week 7: Apex Climbs Standings, iRacing Records Strong Finish
TEXARKANA, Texas- Another week of competition brought strong performances and some momentum heading into the final stretch of the season for Texas A&M–Texarkana Esports.
iRacing
Wesley Shaw turned in an impressive performance on the track, qualifying 34th before racing his way up to a 12th-place finish. With confident driving, smart positioning, and effective drafting with other drivers, he steadily moved through the field while avoiding wrecks. iRacing will be back on the track in two weeks for the next race.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU)
The SSBU squad fell 2–0 to Keiser in their final match of the season. While the result didn't go their way, the team wraps up the year with valuable experience and a foundation to build on heading into next season.
Rainbow Six Siege (R6)
The Eagles picked up a forfeit victory this week after their opponent did not show for the scheduled match. The team has also already been awarded another win for next week due to a second forfeit, giving them back-to-back victories in the standings.
Apex Legends
The Apex squad continued its strong season, scoring 66 points this week and moving into second place overall with 213 points.

With two weeks remaining in competition, the Eagles are firmly in the hunt for the top spot. The team will return to action next Thursday as they continue their push toward the finish.
