Bio

Jace Gaston is an energetic college cheer coach and leadership mentor with over 14 years of experience building high-performing teams, choreographing competitive routines, and shaping student-athletes into confident leaders.

As Head Cheer Coach at Nelson University for six years, Jace led the program to two top-three finishes at the NCA College Cheer Camp, took the team to its first-ever NAIA competition where they placed second, and oversaw recruitment, Game Day execution, and mascot program development.

Beyond campus, Jace has been part of the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders staff for a decade, delivering Game Day instruction, choreographing performances, training athletes in stunt execution and crowd engagement, mentoring staff, and streamlining camp operations—impacting thousands of athletes nationwide through a values-driven coaching culture.

Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership at Liberty University, Jace continues to elevate athletic programs through strategic coaching, mentorship, and a deep commitment to holistic student development. Her coaching philosophy blends discipline, unity, and servant-hearted leadership—creating a culture that thrives both on and off the field

When she’s not coaching, you’ll likely find Jace in the gym lifting weights or enjoying her favorite cup of coffee.
