Caputo Tabbed RRAC Player of the Week

TEXARKANA, Texas- Junior outfielder Michael Caputo has been named the RRAC Baseball Player of the Week after a dominant stretch at the plate. Caputo delivered a perfect 4-for-4 performance in the Eagles' record-setting 45-0 victory over Arkansas Baptist, tallying five runs, a double, and three RBIs in the NAIA-tying win. He continued his hot streak in a three-game sweep of Xavier (La.), going 3-for-4 with five runs, a home run, two RBIs, a walk, and two stolen bases as the Eagles secured wins of 13-1, 15-5, and 11-5. On the season, Caputo has been a consistent offensive force, totaling 36 hits, 48 runs, and 33 RBIs while helping lead TAMUT to the top of the RRAC in several key offensive categories.
