Bio

Camry enters her second year as Director of Sports Information at Texas A&M University-Texarkana, where she has quickly become a driving force behind the continued growth and visibility of Eagle Athletics. Since stepping into the role in September 2024, she has led a comprehensive transformation of the Sports Information Department through innovative branding, digital engagement, and organizational initiatives.

Under her leadership, TAMUT Athletics has experienced significant growth across social media platforms, including an increase of nearly 3,000 Facebook followers and more than 2,000 Instagram followers. Camry also spearheaded a full athletics website redesign project, modernizing the department’s digital presence and improving accessibility for fans, recruits, and alumni. In addition, she revamped the historical archives for all athletic programs, reinstated academic award recognitions for student-athletes, and introduced weekly athletic recognition nominations to further highlight Eagle achievements on and off the field.

Before becoming Director of Sports Information at TAMUT, Camry served as a student worker in the Sports Information Department at Graceland University and Cardinal Stritch University, gaining hands-on experience across all areas of athletic communications. Her responsibilities included writing game recaps, compiling in-game statistics, assisting with video broadcasts, maintaining website backend operations, coordinating national award nominations, and providing play-by-play coverage.

Camry graduated from Graceland University in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a minor in Marketing. As a former NAIA collegiate basketball player at Graceland University and Cardinal Stritch University, she brings the same competitiveness, discipline, and attention to detail from the court into her professional career. Her background as a student-athlete, combined with her expertise in communications, social media strategy, and storytelling, continues to elevate the profile and professionalism of TAMUT Athletics.
